This quick chart lists main tabs items in GN4 and provides links to more details.
Main menu bar and context menus, toolbars, palettes, navigator, status bar, content zone (with one or more content tabs) and preview zone are all tied to main tabs (with some exceptions). Each main tab may have own set of such controls, but some of controls may also be shared among tabs.
Main tabs may be shared, or application-specific.
The following main tabs are shared, and may appear either in Fred4 or in Ted4:
