The standard menu bar on the Pages main tab contains the following menus:

File menu

Edit menu

Layout menu

Type menu

Tools menu

Articles menu

The drop-down menus contains options related to page editing and to text editing - in Fred4, the menu does not change when you switch from page editing to text editing and back. While editing pages, the text editing related options are dimmed. While editing text on pages, the page editing related commands are dimmed.

Note

The menu bar of the this main tab is defined in Fred4_TabItems.XML file, GN4ShellConfiguration > GN4ShellMenus > Menuset Name="Fred4Main".

As you can customize the system configuration, your current set-up may be different than the one described in this document.
