Navigator is collapsible and horizontally resizeable full-height pane, displayed on the left side of the application window. Some navigators display results in a list or grid form under the search criteria zone, while others use the content tab zone and look like more as search panes.

Use Navigator to locate content, to open it for editing or viewing, or to add it to an article or a page.

Navigator is related to the current main tab. In other words, every main tab has one or more independent navigators (all tabbed in the same area).
