Main menu is displayed below the title bar. The content of the main menu bar and the drop down menus is main tab specific, e.g. the Pages main tab of Fred4 has a menu bar that is different of the menu bar, available on the Editions tab in the same application etc.

Available menus are defined in configuration and can be freely modified.

Since the version 2.4, the names, order and number of options in a menu can be different for each group and users.
