You can use navigators and search panes on the following main tabs in Ted4 and Fred4:
•Articles navigator: use it to locate one or more articles to open for editing, or for other articles related basic operations.
•Wires Navigator: (since version 1.4) use it to locate wires content to drag in the current article.
•Editorial Navigator: (since version 1.4) use it to locate articles, editorial images, or wires content to drag in the current article
•Tark4 Navigator: (since version 1.4) use it to locate archived content to drag in the current article.
•Tasks navigator: use it to locate tasks.
•Products navigator: use it to locate products, linked to tasks
•Clipboard navigator: use it to manage content stored on the clipboard.
•Collections navigator: (since version 1.6) use it to locate content stored in collections.
•Content navigator: (in version 1.3) use it to locate editorial, wires or archived stories and images, audios, videos, or documents to drag in the current article, or to locate an article to merge with the current article.
•Collections tree: use it to select a collection from the tree.
•Categories tree: use to to search by categories.
•Clipboard navigator: use it to manage content stored on the clipboard.
•Search pane: use it to search contacts.
•Editions navigator: use it to locate editions to open for editing, to use as template for New from, or recover.
•Locks search pane: use it to find specific locks.
•Galleries navigator: use it to review, open and manage the existing galleries.
•Media Content Navigator: use it to review content and to drag it into a gallery.
•Clipboard navigator: use it to manage content stored on the clipboard.
•Pages navigator: use it to locate pages to open for editing, or to copy by drag and drop into current page.
•Wires Navigator: (since version 1.4) use it to locate wires content to drag in the current article.
•Editorial Navigator: (since version 1.4) use it to locate articles, editorial images, or wires content to drag in the current article

•Clipboard navigator: use it to manage content stored on the clipboard.
•Results navigator: use it to display content, assigned or linked to a page
•Tasks navigator: use it to locate and browse tasks.
•Budgets navigator: use it to locate and browse budgets.
•Events navigator: use it to locate and browse events.
•Destinations navigator: use it to locate publishing channel to open for review of the assigned content.
•Wires Navigator: (since version 1.4) use it to locate wires content to drag in the current article.

•Tark4 search pane: (since version 1.4) use it to find and review the archived content.
•Content search pane: (since version 1.4) use it to find and review any content in cross-type searches.
•Collections search pane: use it to find and review the content in collections.
•Pages search pane: use it to search for locate pages, also across multiple editions, using various criteria.
•Editions search pane: use it to drag content over editions, sections, pages, zones, to assign it, or to review what's assigned and linked already.
•Clipboard Navigator: use it to manage content stored on the clipboard.
•Searches search pane: use it to manage or run saved searches from one pane.
•Articles search pane (removed in 1.5 and newer)
•Layouts navigator: use it to locate tracking layouts to open for review / editing.
•Editions navigator: use it to assign editions by drag and drop to the current tracking layout.
•Pages navigator: use it to add page(s) by drag and drop to the current tracking layout.
•Search pane: use it to locate the spiked items by entering criteria.
