How to find things in GN4 help?

The GN4 help covers concepts, self-learning tutorials, user interface, task-oriented content (user procedures) with help for Ted4 and Fred4 users, topics for IT staff, and programmers-oriented sections.

Depending on what you are looking for, select the appropriate section in the table of contents, search for the related keyword in keyword index, or search for any word in full-text search.

This topic lists the main points of interest. You may also want to look at Finding Information for details on how to search the documentation. For the description of the table of contents, see table of contents.

A summary of descriptions of the user interface elements is in GN4 Work Area. Look especially at Main Tabs, Content Tabs, Navigator, Forms and Dialog Boxes etc. Tools, menus, toolbars etc are described individually for each main tab, e.g. for Articles, Pages, Editions, Shell etc. List of main tabs is in Available main tabs. Detailed description of Articles main tab content panes is in Content.

Section for staff who manages scriptable add-ins is under GN4 Programming Reference, while the REST programmers-oriented documentation is available on http://tech.teradp.com/tech/html/gn4/docs/VSdoc/index.html. The XAML reference is in XAML controls.
