This documentation refers to the released GN4 version 2.5.3453.9 and to the new functionalities in the forthcoming GN4 version.

The documentation is frequently updated. Updates include new or changed features, index enhancements, errata corrige and similar. Each time when someone asks a question and the documentation does not offer a quick answer, we add or rewrite the related topics.

The  version of the GN4 documentation on the Tera Web server is alway up-to-date, unless your browser has problems with the internal cache - in that case, see the 'Problems with outdated Web pages present in the local cache' paragraph in the Have problems with this documentation? topic.

The help installed locally on your hard disk or on your local server will be out-of-date day after the installation, so you better update it frequently (see Downloading GN4 CHM help or Web help to install on your server for instructions).

To find out when this documentation was lastly updated, check the date at the bottom of the Home topic, next to the GN4 Help.

The updates are available from the Tera technical home page as a zipped archive, downloadable from the Web page. Please find the instructions and links in Downloading GN4 CHM help or Web help to install on your server.

The documentation is also available as Web help on http://tech.teradp.com/tech/html/gn4/docs/guides/gn4/gn4_index.html.

You can access the Web pages only if you have an Internet connection and you know the user name and the password. All registered Tera customers with a valid maintenance contract are entitled to request the user name and the password for access to the documentation and download pages. The date of the last update is clearly visible on the bottom of the entry page.
