This menu on the Pages main tab contains the commands related to articles.

As you can customize the system configuration, your current set-up may be different than the one described in this document.

FUNCTION	DESCRIPTION
New Article...	Display a dialog box to create a new article.
Copy Article	Display a dialog box to copy article.
New Article by Template...	Create a new article from template
New Article Template...	Create article template
New Task from Article	Create new task from the selected article.
Edit Article in Text Editor	Edit current article in the Text Editor.
Switch to Text Editor Horizontal Split Switch to Text Editor Vertical Split	Open Text Editor as indicated.
Edit on Articles Tab	Edit current article on the Articles tab.
Edit Current Element on Article Tab	Edit current element on the Articles tab (opening the current element).
Select Current Article	Display a dialog box to select current article.
Clear Current Article and Element	Clear current article and element.
Add Article Element to the Current Article
Add Frame by Type submenu	Menu
Kicker Head Subhead Intro Pull quote Image	Add the specified element to the current selection.
Merge/Move To submenu
Merge Content From...	Display a dialog box to select an article to merge content from.
Merge Structure From...	Display a dialog box to select an article to merge structure from.
Merge Content and Structure From...	Display a dialog box to select an article to merge content and structure from.
Move to Another Article...	Display a dialog box to select an article to move content to-
Merge To Current Article...	Merge selected wire news to the current article.
Merge To New Article...	Merge selected wire news to a new article.
Merge To Specified Article...	Merge selected wire news to an existing article.
Replace Article with Another	Display a dialog box to select an article as a replacement for the current article.
Swap Content	Swap content between two articles selected on page (e.g. left article content appears in the right article, and viceversa).
Swap Position	Swap position of two articles selected on page (e.g. left article appears on the position of the right article, and viceversa).
Toggle White Text	Toggle reverse text. Note: it requires that you have every format duplicated with the -W extension of the name, and with white text.
Replace Article Image With Dummy	Replace the selected article image with a dummy.
Link submenu
Link Article To...	Link current article to selected shapes.
Link Element To...	Link current element to selected shapes.
Link As First	Link current element as the first in the flow.
Unlink	Unlink
Book Layer	Book layer for jump.
Unbook Layer	Unbook layer.
Unlink and Keep Geometry	Unlink current linked article but keep geometry as local.
Show Links	Display a dialog box to review all pages where the current article element flows.
Format submenu
Select	Display a dialog box to select format for the current article element.
Select and Resize	Display a dialog box to select format and number of decsk for the current article element of the headline or similar type.
Apply Master Format to All Local Texts	Apply the master format to all local text frames.
Refresh	Refresh formats.
Check submenu
Check-out Article	Check-out the current article.
Check-out Geometry	Check-out the geometry of the current article.
Save Article	Save article.
Refresh submenu
Article	Refresh article.
Element	Refresh current element.
Format	Refresh format.
Unlock	Unlock current article.
Delete	Delete current article.
Send Articles submenu
Send To... Send On... Send Back... Send History...	Send article to the specified folder.
Properties	Display property sheet.
