This menu on the Pages main tab contains the commands related to tables in text. It is active only when you are editing text.

As you can customize the system configuration, your current set-up may be different than the one described in this document.

FUNCTION

DESCRIPTION

Insert Table...

Display a dialog box to insert a table. Hold SHIFT to display a quick dialog box.

Edit submenu

Table...,Column...,Row...,Cell...

Display dialog box to edit properties on the selected level.

Paste with Tabs in Selected Cells

Paste content from clipboard in selected cells. It expects that you select the same number of cells as it is the number of the tab-delimited content on the clipboard.

Paste with Tabs in Entire Table

Auto-select entire table and then paste content from clipboard.

Fill with Dummy Content

Fill the table with dummy content.

Convert from pasted Excel

Replace Extra Tabs with Bells

Select submenu

Table content, Table content and structure, Row/Columns

Select the specified content type.

Add submenu

Add column left, Add column right, Add row above, Add row below

Add items to the current table.

Delete submenu

Delete column, Delete row, Delete table content

Delete items from the current table.

Join/Split submenu

Join Horizontally, Join Vertically, Split Cells...

Merge or split the cell with the adjacent one.

Toggle show structure

Toggle the display of the table grid.

Apply Table Style

Open a dialog box to select a table style and to apply it.

Save Table Style

Open a dialog box to save a table style.

Load Factory Table Styles

Load predefined table styles - use it if your configuration get broken.

Tags submenu

Start tabulation, Next column, Start last row

Insert specific table-related GNML tags.
