You can add layers at any time using the Layers palette. The number of page layers is limited to 16.

1.Check-out the list of layers.

2.On the Layers palette, click the icon in the toolbar.

3.On the Layer dialog box, in Name, enter an appropriate layer name.

4.In Description, enter an optional description.

5.In Content, select the appropriate layer type.

6.In Lock, select Unlocked.

7.In Region, select the desired region. Note: the list of available regions depends on the page's zone. Only the regions, compatible with the page's zone are listed. If in doubt, select Print region.

Duplicate a layer

First create a new layer, and then copy all items from the original layer to the new layer.
