Layers and Multi-using

Multiple users can open and edit different layers of the same page, i.e. work on design of the same page - as long as they work on separate layers. A layout on a page with 16 layers can be edited by 16 users at once. Any content can be spread across more layers.

When a layer is edited by one user, other users can still view that layer, but not to modify it. Changes to the layer will be visible as the page is periodically automatically refreshed.

Moreover, the editorial content and advertisement can be placed on separate layers of the page. Thus, editorial staff can work on the same page at the same time as the advertising staff. While editorial designers are laying down the editorial layers, advertisement staff can import ads onto advertisement layers.

You can also use layers to alternately display or share sets of advertisements for different regions.
