You need to know quite a lot of things about editions, templates and pages before you attempt to create any. However, let's separate two distinct situations:
The way you create editions in a production environment depends on the newsroom internal organizing. Usually, you will use a simple procedure, every day the same, based on carefully prepared templates, where the complicated part was to organize and prepare the procedures, while the execution will be simple. There are two common scenarios: •Editions get created by importing editions or edition/ads plans: you need to know about in which folder you can find editions or editions/ads plans, how to check if the edition was already created, and the exact procedure of importing.
