The uniqueness of editions and edition templates is determined as follows:

Editions

An edition is identified by three attributes:

1.Date & deadline time

2.Edition number

3.Name.

There cannot be two editions in the same title having an identical date and time, number and name. However, it is quite common to have two editions under a title with the same name and number, but different dates.

Templates

An edition template is identified by the name attribute (templates do not have date nor number).

There cannot be two edition templates in the same title having an identical name.

Pages

A page is identified with the page number, section, and zone. There cannot exist two pages in the same edition having an identical number, section and zone. However, it is quite common to have in the same edition two or more pages with the same number, but with different sections and/or zones.
