This topic describes the permissions on sections and zones, that drive also the permissions on pages. There are other permissions that affect pages, such as permissions on titles, typographies and editions, images, articles and text elements.

IMPORTANT: Pay a special attention on denials! If a user belongs to more groups, certain permissions may be denied on the level of another group and if the group has a higher priority of the one you're looking at, you won't see the denial, but it will be effective. Note also that denials may exist on the personal level too.
•For the Administrator group, select the Full control preset. •For the Everyone group, select the View preset. •For users who need to view the pages, but in read-only mode, grant read permission and deny write permissions. Have in mind that an user can list and see pages in the navigator only if the Read permissions are set. An user can update page thumbnails only if the RefW Protected is set. •For users who need to edit pages and change workstate, set the following permissions: 1. On Titles, on Sections and on Zones, select the Edit In preset. 2.
