When you create a new edition from scratch on the Editions tab of Fred4, the new edition contains as many pages as you specified in the new edition dialog box. You can add more pages. You can add all required pages at once, or section-by-section, zone-by-zone, or whatever. The procedure below regards adding all pages in the same u unspecified section, zone, workstate and deadline.
Existing default masters are assigned automatically to all new pages, in the way that the master of the L type is assigned to even pages, while the master of the R type is assigned to odd pages. When creating a new edition, ensure that you have set the appropriate dimensions and format for the master page before proceeding.
