Ted4 is a GN4 client application that runs on a Microsoft Windows operating system (on an Intel PC or an Intel Macintosh with Microsoft Windows), and connects to a GN4 server in a LAN, WAN or over Internet.

Use Ted4 to work with articles, and to manage all kind of content (text, images, graphic, audio, video, urls, documents, all of above in practically any format), to create, locate, review, and enrich content, to publish it in a number of formats. You can upload/import content, retrieve and export or transform it, work with wires and/or archive, create personal content collections, organize newsroom work and/or review your tasks, contacts, events, budgets and so on. You can validate content and send it in the copy flow.

Natively, Ted4 edits only textual content of multimedia articles. This includes also formatting, tabulation, hyperlinks and much more. For all other "non-text" content formats, such as images, videos, audios, etc. a dedicated third-party editor (optional) can be automatically launched from Ted4.

Ted4 also provides a channel-specific preview (paper page, Web output, etc). Moreover, you can manage planning, contacts, collections, trash can.

In Ted4, you can write text to fit and format it for different channels.

Ted4 includes all GNXpedio Mobile Publishing and GN4 browser functionalities, and GN4 browser includes some Ted4 functionalities, such as write text to fit.
