GN4 browser modules run in a standard browser on any desktop operating system, and also on various mobile devices.

They appears in the following flavors:

•I4

Since the version 2.0, I4 is a faster and more powerful replacement for the GN4 User Browser.

•GN4 User Browser know also as 'GNPortal'

Use it for content ingestion and retrieval. Depending on the configuration, it can contain more or less modules, e.g. browsing, creating, slugging and searching content, sending content in copy flow, a separate wires search module, edition manager (when using Adobe applications for paper production), contacts, tasks, user calendars, budgets and events (for organizing work), publishing, reports etc. User Browser does not contain any system administration function.

•GN4 Mobile Browser with basic functionalities

Simplified interface, optimized for small screen, and just basic functionalities: upload, review, basic search.

•GN4Administrative Browser

Use it to configure GN4 system, and perform various administration tasks, e,g. monitor data receiving through BACK4 etc.
