You can rotate the selected objects by mouse, dragging them around a rotation reference point.

The rotation reference point is by default set on the center of the bounding box for a multi selection. For single objects, it is by default set on the hot-spot position.

Rotate objects (handle drag rotation)

1.With the normal tool 182_cursor_16, select one or more objects.
2.Click the rotate tool 16_Rotate_16, and then drag a selection handle in the desired rotation sense.

See Change the rotation reference point.

Rotate objects (by mouse wheel)

1.With the normal tool 182_cursor_16, select one or more objects.
2.Click the rotate tool 16_Rotate_16, hold CTRL pressed and then roll the mouse wheel forwards to rotate counter clockwise, or backwards to rotate clockwise. Note: this rotation is always around center, independently of the hot-spot position.

Note

Rotating images by default rotates the image box. To rotate an image in the box see Rotate image in its box.
