The rotation reference point is by default set:

•For the multi-selection: on the center of the bounding box for a multi-selection.

•For the single objects: on the hot-spot position.

To move the rotation reference point temporarily

With the rotate tool , click anywhere on the page: the rotation reference point cross appears on the position of the click.

The position of the reference point moved in this way is not permanent: as soon as you exit the rotation mode, it reverts to the default position (on the center of the bounding box for a multi selection, and on the hot-spot position for single objects).

To center the rotation reference point you moved by click

Switch to the normal tool , and then switch back to the rotate tool .

To center the rotation reference point and the hot-spot position

To set the rotation reference point and the hot-spot position on the center of the single object, on the Tools menu, point to Hot-spot and then select Reset to center.
