You can link whole article at once to the selected frames, automatically creating and linking the elements which are missing in the article.
1.Create frames for all the elements you want to have in the article, and then select the appropriate types for all frames. 2.Ensure that all the frames are selected. Make sure the article is not checked in Ted4, otherwise, the linking will fail. 3.Drag an article from Navigator to page, over selected frames. How Fred4 links elements to frames? Elements of the article are linked to the frames of the same type. E.g., if the article contains an element of body type, and selected page objects were 3 frames of body type, the body element is linked to these frames. What happens if the article contains more elements than the page selection? The elements "in excess" are not linked. For example, the article contains the head element, the summary element, and the body element, but your selected frames on page were one of head type, and three of body type: the result is that the summary element is not linked. What happens if the article contains less elements than the page selection? The missing elements may be automatically created and linked. For example, the article contains only the body element, but your selected frames on page were one of head type, and three of body type: the result is that the head element is added and linked. This however depends on the user settings. |
