Select a frame type

Typically, an appropriate object type is assigned to frames automatically when you create them. Types are used when linking frames to articles, to determine whether an element can be added to the article, and in which way.

To select a frame type on unlinked frames to make them linkable

1.On the Tools menu, point to Frames, and then click Set type, or on the toolbox click the 23_object type_16 icon.

2.Select the appropriate type from the list. Do not select [Don't modify] or [None].

To select a frame type on unlinked frames or images to make them not-linkable

1.On the Tools menu, point to Frames, and then click Set type, or on the toolbox click the 23_object type_16 icon.

2.Select the [None] type from the list..

To select a frame type on linked frames or images

If a frame or image is linked to a text, you cannot change the type. Unlink first, change the type and then relink.
