You can place a graphic on a page or in an article in various modes:
1.From database, by locating it by name and folder, by assignment status (to edition, section, zone, page, region), or by any word in caption, summary, title, name, folder, type, modified date/time and other criteria. You can drag it from a listing, or select it in the graphic selection dialog box.
2.From a file system, by uploading it in database first, and then applying methods in #1 .
3.(only for page) By copying and pasting a ready graphic from the same or another Fred4's page. This does not embed graphic, but links it as method #1.
Moreover, you can place graphic:
•In its original size (placing it on an empty space on page and not over anything selected).
•Adjusted to the dimensions of a image placeholder, e.g. cropped, or resized to fit by the longest side, or fit and cropped (do not use it for images with clipping path).
Finally, you can use a graphic to replace a dummy image.
All methods provide the same level of the control over resolution, file formats, and color.
About images with clipping path
Images with clipping path can be placed only in 'original size', e.g. on an empty space on page. Placeholders won't work for such images.
