IMPORTANT: PERFORM IMPORT STEPS IN THE SAME ORDER AS LISTED IN THIS CHAPTER.

For this step, it is assumed you already imported the typography, font layouts, fonts, hyphenations, libraries and formats, titles, workstates, edition numbers, layer types, geometry presets, groups, users, zones, regions, sections, folders, masters, category sets, and object libraries.

This topic describes the procedure to paste GlobalConfig nodes in the EdAdmin4, copying from the file you exported from GN3 database in the step described in Export configuration.

To paste GlobalConfig nodes

1.Open the exported file in any text editor.

2.Run EdAdmin4, and under Application Configuration, click Client applications.

3.Double-click GlobalConfig.

4.Locate the nodes with the same names in exported file and in GlobalConfig, and paste their content from the exported file in the GlobalConfig editing window.

5.When done, on the Config menu, click Save.

6.Close the GlobalConfig window.

7.Exit EdAdmin4.

IMPORTANT: To make these changes available to the GN4 users, recycle the GN4 application pools on all IIS servers and then make all users log out and log back in.
