This topic describes the command line to export configuration, e.g. spell-checker setup etc. from GN3 database:

C:\gn3-2-gn4\Gn3Export.exe -target 1.4 -title XX -node GlobalConfigMisc -out GlobalConfigsDoNotLoad.xml

Important

Unlike other exported files, this exported file MUST NOT BE LOADED as-is on the GN4 system as it would corrupt the GlobalConfig! Open the exported file in any text editor and then paste the nodes in the GlobalConfig, opened in the EdAdmin4.

Note

•Replace XX with the GN3 ID of the title you're exporting.

•It is assumed you created the folder C:\gn3-2-gn4\ and you extracted in it the latest gn3export.zip.
