1.Run Fred4, open a page you want to use as a duplication target, and check-out the list of its layers.

2.On the Pages navigator, select the source page, and holding CTRL, or SHIFT+CTRL, drag it on the target page in Fred4. Note: CTRL perform the copy without prompting you to replace the layers, while SHIFT+CTRL prompts you what to do.

3.When prompted with the message "Do you want to delete all current page's layers before adding dropped page's layers", select what you want. If you select No, the new layers are added to the current page, and the old layers will remain. Note: you can customize the message and the default button. See OnDrop function in Page.vb.

4.If the dropped page has linked articles, Fred4 will prompt you to rename or move the articles in another folder. In the Articles Copy dialog box do one or more of the following:

Automatically adjust names of copied articles

Manually change names of copied articles

Select another folder for article duplicates

Exclude some articles of being copied

Notes

The Article Copy dialog box may not appear if you do not hold SHIFT+CTRL pressed while dragging the page, or the global variable glbAlwaysShowCopyPageDlg is not set to True in your EditorialConfig. If dialog box does not appear, only the matched layers will be deleted. See Global variables for pages copying.
