To apply Tool on a library object

.Create a new object in a library from selected objects on page, or Create a new empty object, or Edit a library object.

.If the library grid (margins, columns and modules) is not what you expected, see About page grid in library windows for the procedure on how to adjust it.

.Select the normal pointer and then on the Window > Palettes, select Tool.

.Select the first frame, and then set one or more Tool values as required. Note: the Tool values depend on the purpose of such library object. See Recommended values for the various standard scenarios when selecting options for details.

.Click the confirmation icon - the focus advances to the next library object element.

.Repeat the step #4 for all other frames in the library object.

.Save the library object
