Where are the preferences and settings stored?

All preferences are stored in the database. The preferences can be reviewed and modified on the Preferences dialog boxes in various modules, and also in EdAdmin4, under Application Configuration, Client applications. The names, listed in Basic preferences, Workspace/searches and Recent files are the names of the configuration items, as displayed in EdAdmin4.

The preferences are per-user.
