When an element overlaps (partially or totally), you may have to follow these procedures to select overlapped elements on the WYSIWYG pane. •Total overlapping: if all four corners of the head element are within the underlying image, the first click in the editing session will select the head frame and you'd be able to edit it. If then you click the image, e.g. to edit caption (2nd click), and then try again to click the head frame, and it is not re-selected, then do following: click the head element in the tree (3rd click), and then click the head frame on the WYSIWYG (4th click) and it will work. •Partial overlapping: If the text frame you want to edit overlaps with another element, e.g. image caption, then sometimes it is needed to click the image, to get the cursor in the desired frame. |
