Move half of a spread to another edition

To move a content of a half of a spread from one layer (source) to another layer (destination) on the Pages main tab

1.Open the source page, select all items on the designated side of the source layer, and the on the Edit menu, select Cut.

2.Save the source page. (This is important, otherwise, pasting of content on another layer would create links between two pages).

3.Open the target page, select the target layer and paste the content. Note: if destination page is also a spread, but you are pasting not on the same side, the pasted content will temporarily overlap the existing content. Then, immediately after paste, press the LEFT ARROW or the RIGHT ARROW key as many times as necessary to move the pasted content to the free space.

4.Save the target page.

Notes

The above assumes that the destination edition uses the same typography as the source edition. See How to find out to which typography/title is related your content?
