The Articles main tab is available in Ted4 and Fred4.

Use it to create, retrieve, edit, print, publish and preview articles.

The Articles main tab is especially designed to:

Create, retrieve and edit multiple articles at once, either stand-alone, or linked to pages, or containing a local geometry.

Write-to-fit (for articles that feature geometry).

Format text.

Enrich articles with wire or archived stories, images, videos and audios.

Work with conditional text.

Create and edit tables.

Send articles in the copy flow.

Print articles on newsroom printers.

Retrieve any content (except pages in production).

Preview articles for other channels, e.g. Web.

Review and manage tasks.

Work with collections, wires, archive, editorial images without leaving articles.

The Articles main tab typically consists of:

A collapsible Articles Navigator, with various navigators, typically shown on the left side of the main window.

A collapsible Article tree and attributes pane, typically vertically tiled with the Articles Navigator.

Article source pane, typically vertically tiled with the Article tree or Articles Navigator.

A collapsible WYSIWYG / Web pane, typically vertically or horizontally tiled with the article source pane, or taking entire remaining space on the right.
