i4 workspaces provide centralized searches and commands for four different content types: "editorial" (that includes articles, editorial images, pages, editions and other content, stored in folders of the editorial content/folder kind), "wires" (that include wire stories, images, videos and audios, stored in folders of the wires content/folder kind), "archive" (that include archived stories, images, videos and audios, stored in folders of the archive content/folder kind), and "contacts" (that include contact object, stored in folders of the contact content/folder kind).
The default I4 configuration offers templates to quickly create the mentioned four workspace types:
•Editorial workspace: it provides searches and commands for tasks, articles, editorial images, pages, editions and other content stored in folders of the editorial content/folder kind.
•Wires workspace: it provides searches and commands for tasks, all wires content, wire stories, wire images, wire videos and wire audios and other content stored in folders of the wires content/folder kind.
•Archive workspace: it provides searches and commands for tasks, all archived content, archived stories, archived images, archived videos and archived audios stored in folders of the archive content/folder kind.
•Contacts workspace: it provides searches and commands for contacts stored in folders of the contact content/folder kind.
First three workspace types have workspace-specific searches and some common elements, that are tasks and all types of stories, images, videos and audios stored in folders of the appropriate content/folder kind.
