The main toolbar on the Editions main tab contains the most frequently used tools.

If the toolbar is not displayed, check first:

•Is the toolbar enabled? See Display or hide this toolbar in the following text for the instructions.

•Is the hosting dock bar expanded? See Collapse or expand a dock bar for the instructions.

•Is the toolbar defined in your current custom configuration? Sometimes, when a new toolbar is added in the standard configuration, you may forget to add it also to your custom configuration.

•Does your current saved workspace contains that toolbar? Even if the toolbar would appear by default, it won't be shown if your saved workspace was saved without that toolbar. See Load a workspace on application start for instructions on how to enable or disable a workspace as the default one.

As you can customize the system configuration, your current set-up may be different than the one described in this document.

Display or hide this toolbar

To display this toolbar, on the Window menu, click Main toolbar.

Locate this toolbar in the configuration

Review and define toolbars of the Editions main tab in FRED4_TABITEMS.XML file, GN4ShellConfiguration > GN4ShellMenus > Menuset Name="Fred4Editions" > ToolBarList.
