This topic introduces you to the keyboard and mouse shortcuts. Please find the actual lists of the shortcuts split by a main tab in the "All keyboard and mouse shortcuts" paragraph. The text editing shortcuts are described in Articles, while the page editing shortcuts are described in Pages.
In Ted4 and Fred4
GN4 applications feature keyboard and mouse shortcuts.
Press CTRL+K to display the keyboard and mouse shortcuts for the current main tab. Alternatively, look at the Help menu, under specific main tabs, and then select Keyboard Shortcuts. |
To use a simple keyboard shortcut, press and then release a designated key. To use a "super shifted" keyboard shortcut, press and hold a super shift key, such as SHIFT, CTRL, ALT or any combination of them, and then press and release a designated key. GN4 does not support "chained shortcuts" (e.g. "first press the first shortcut, and then press the second shortcut"). |
To use a simple mouse shortcut, click or double-click any button, or rotate or click the mouse wheel. To use super shifted mouse shortcuts, press and hold a super shift key, such as SHIFT, CTRL, ALT or any combination of them, and then click or double-click any mouse button. About mouse wheel Rotating the wheel zooms the page or the WYSIWYG preview, or an image, or scrolls the window content up/down. |

In the GN4 browser
Default keyboard shortcuts on the Result webpart allow to move the selection up/down, check/uncheck items and refresh selection.
Default keys (if not specified in the configuration):
- W: move up
- S: move down
- D: check
- A: uncheck
- R: refresh
