Unlink article elements from jump layer

When you unlink an article element from a jump page, either by clicking the unlink icon fred_unlink_ico, or by deleting or cutting all linked frames, you are normally prompted whether you want to remove the jump information too (unless you suppressed the prompt as explained in Avoiding prompt on unlinking text from jump layer).

If you click No, the jump layer will remain booked, and it appears in the list of links with a blank icon.

If you click Yes, the booking is deleted but only if you checked-out all layers where the text flows. Otherwise, the booking is not deleted. The consequences are explained in Jump information (jump booking). Moreover, if you try to unlink, delete or cut all linked frames of that article element from one of jump layers, and then when prompted you select Yes but not all jump layers are checked out by you, the operation is aborted - nothing will be unlink, cut or deleted.

To remove the booked jump layer and open it (you can select it in the dialog box and then click Open). On the Articles menu, point to Link, and then click Remove booked layer. If you can't find such command, then add the LayerNoJumpTo system script to the menu, and then execute it. Save the jump layer when done.
