This is the recommended and the quickest - practically, a two-clicks - way to create new editions.

1.Select a suitable template in the editions navigator.

2.On the Edition menu, click New from and then wait until new editions appears.

3.If required, change the assignment of the pages to sections and zones, or set a different deadline.

4.Save the new edition.

About edition templates

The above assumes the edition templates have been created before hand, as explained in Creating Editions or Templates from Scratch.

More..

After an edition is created from a template, it already contains all of the layers and master pages that you need. If the template contained linked articles, they are renamed and/or moved to other folders. See Copying Editions for further details. You may want to modify the new edition, and you can do it freely, but the changes should be minimal. We recommend you to prepare a variety of edition templates to choose from, if the layout of your paper changes frequently.
