Body frame Tool
Use the text frame tool to draw a frame. Select the tool, or press the F key, and then, on the page, drag an area on the designated position. The frame will take the size of the entire area.
While the tool is active, the pointer looks like .
If you press and hold SHIFT before releasing the left mouse button, it creates a frame of headline type. Otherwise, it creates a frame of body type.
When you end dragging by a left click, it returns to the normal tool . To abort the creation of the object, press Esc before left click.

Since the version 2.2, the text frame tools can apply a personalized default format to the new created frames. See Set custom default format for a frame.
