Character case defaults

The character case defaults in a format handle the behavior of the >small...< tag.  If the Automatically disable small capitals... on font or point change is selected in the Global properties, this tag will be invalidated on each font or type size change.

An example: You create a headline style which forces all capitals:

>headline< = >f 4<>h 20pt<>w 20pt<>ld 22pt<>small 2<

When you use it in text as:

>headline<Peace brothers

in WYSIWYG it automatically appears as:

PEACE BROTHERS

unless you manually change the font or type size after the style e.g.:

>headline<>h 23pt<Peace brothers

in WYSIWYG produces:

Peace brothers

(the auto capitalization is gone).

It is recommended to clear the above check box in every format.
