Place the cursor in a table cell, and then in the Table menu, click Toggle show structure.

The structure of a table can be displayed only for tables, originated by the procedure, originated by the procedure, explained in Creating a table  (i.e. where the text contains appropriate unmodified GNML tags). They will not work for any table in which you modified original GNML tags, used styles, or additional manual tagging.
