You can add borders, rules and fills to your tables. Use the Edit Table properties dialog box to set or change the table border, and to add rules and fills to columns or rows. To change the rules of individual columns, use the Column properties dialog box. For individual rows, use Row properties dialog box. To draw or not the vertical and horizontal rules next to cells, use Cell properties dialog box.
By default, the formatting you select using the Table properties dialog box is overridden by any corresponding formatting previously applied to table cells, columns or rows.
