When you type text, it’s sometimes useful to know the physical depth of a story as it will appear in WYSIWYG view. You can use the status bar to know it.

Current depth

In the justified text view, or on the WYSIWYG view, the 6th field on the Ted4 status bar shows the text depth on the position of cursor, expressed in the vertical measurement unit, selected in your personal preferences.

The value updates as you move the cursor.

If you switch to the unjustified text view, the value is dimmed.

Total depth

In the justified text view, or on the WYSIWYG view, the 7th field on the Ted4 status bar shows the total text depth, expressed in the vertical measurement unit, selected in your personal preferences.
