I don't see any marker about notes mode in WYSIWYG pane or on page.

Markers are not provided. Use the source pane or the Text Editor to review notes mode text / blind text

The notes mode text is hardly readable

Change the notes mode properties as explained in Changing font and color of notes mode

When you copy a selected block in the WYSIWYG pane, the hidden text (notes mode) is copied as well.
