Background spell check and auto-corrections do not work.

Ensure that spell checker is correctly configured. See Configuring Spell Checker.

A word in the last/only line in SUP.TLX, without Return at the end of the line, is not recognized in spell check.

Always press the 8 key after each word when editing SUP.TLX

Some punctuation rules, although defined in the configuration, do not work.

Fix the punctuation configuration.

Remove the line:

= \s

which stops loading of all the punctuation rules following it.

A punctuation error is reported on the full stop, end of paragraph and starting the paragraph with a smart quote.

Use the following syntax for \n, as

\o\n\s"'

(with added single and double smart quotes).

Words with a period as the very last one in a text, without ¶ after it, cause punctuation error.

Add \o to the line which defines punctuation rule for he period sign.

The default punctuation rule for period is incomplete.

A message "Unable to load the spell checker, error: Invalid configuration parameters (e.g. the same character is defined as a letter and as a space).

Edit Alpha or Spaces keyword and make sure that some characters are not listed in both.

The Alpha keyword should contain the characters to be considered as letters and numbers, while Spaces should contain characters, to be considered as spaces.
