You can perform the spell check on an entire article, or only on the current text element. In the Edit menu, point to Spelling and then select what you want.
Please note that the article spell check requires the article to be checked-out by you. If the article is not checked-out, you are prompted to check it out.
When GN4 finds a possible spelling or punctuation error, do one of the following:
•Click a suggestion, or make your changes in the Spelling error dialog box, and then click Correct, to apply the change and proceed, or click Correct All, to apply the change on all other occurrences of the same error.
•Skip the error, clicking on Ignore. To skip all errors of that kind, click Ignore All.
It is not possible to correct manually an error, and to add it to the dictionary at once - you can do either one or another thing, not both at the same time. Please be aware that if you type a correction, and click Add, or Add.lang, the original, and not the corrected word is added to the dictionary!
To repeat the spelling check, while editing text, move the cursor to the beginning of the text, and then on the Edit menu, point to Spelling and then click Spell check Element to begin.
