Manage nudge on the master or layer level

1.	Open a master page for editing, or - if a page contains multiple layers, double-click a layer name in the Layers palette, to target the layer.

2.	On the Layout menu, click Edit Nudge.

3.	Enter appropriate values for horizontal and vertical nudge.

Notes

•It is recommended to keep horizontal nudge on 0, and to set the vertical nudge to the default text leading.

•If possible, it is recommended that modules height would be a multiple of the vertical nudge.

•Bear in mind that nudge is used by several Fred4 procedures when working with page baseline grid. Thus, it is recommended to set nudge to the desired page baseline grid.
