You can save and recall searches on the search panel and dialogs. This is provided by the Saved search command bar.

Saved search command bar in Ted4 and Fred4 version 2.3 or newer

The list (1) contains all your saved searches. The expander (2) allows you to display the list of existing saved searches.

To perform a saved search, just select it in the list (1).

To add a new saved search, enter the criteria in the search form, and then click the button (3) to save the search. In the dialog box, enter a new name for the saved search, and then in Target, select what you want. If the saved search should be visible only to you, select <Me>, otherwise, select a group Everyone or another group. Note: if you are not an Administrator, see Permissions on global saved searches. Click OK to confirm.

To delete a saved search, select it in the list (1), and then click the Delete button (4).

To empty the search form and the list (1), click the button (5).

Notes

In some search dialogs, the list of saved searches widens while you type.

Every search panel and dialog box have independent saved searches, but the search panels with multiple search forms, such as Editorial, share the saved searches.
