When you have an article layout on a page, and you want to replace it quickly with another article layout, you may want to replace it with a similar library object.
To replace a page block with another library object
1.On a page opened on the Pages main tab in Fred4, select all the elements of the article to be replaced, including box and rules - if any.
2.Click the Libraries navigator, and then select the appropriate title and the library. Locate the replacement layout.
3.Drag the replacement layout over selected article, and confirm when prompted.
4.If the replacement object has auto-link tool, it is automatically linked to the current article. Otherwise, press L to relink.
To learn how to configure the library objects to perform in the described way, see Example of Tool for replacing objects with image.
Notes
•In order for the above to work, the system has to contain appropriate libraries, and your personal preferences need to be set accordingly, as explained in
•To be able to replace objects in TedExtra mode, on the Tools menu, click Ted Extra Library mode - valid in the session.
