The flow of a text element linked to frames is determined by following:
•The order in which frames were linked to the text: the text flows in the same order.

On the figure, the text columns were created from left to right, therefore, text will flow as they are numbered.

•The type of frames: the text flows only in the frames of the appropriate type, e.g. body flows only in body columns.
•Typographical constraints in the text: the text may jump to the next column if you force a column jump.
The links reflow correctly in an automatic way, if you delete any frame in the flow. See also Link a frame as first in the flow, Link a frame between existing frames and Reorder frames in the flow for editing flow order.
