You can preview the current article for specific Web before you publish it actually.
The preview depends on the currently installed Web browser and of the Web site version. If there are problems, see Errors in Web preview, Set IE emulation for Web preview and Diagnosing Web browser.
1.In Ted4, open an article on the Articles main tab. 2.Display Web preview as explained in Show/Hide Web preview. 3.To taste different Web pages, formats and positions of the article, see Select a different Web format and page position and Select a different Web page. 4.Toggle auto-update of the Web preview to enable or disable update while writing text. |
Double-click an article in the Preview pane and it will be rendered on the publishing destination you've defined in the publishing destination itself, as optional reference pubDestObjectPreview. Click Refresh to return to the page preview. Another new attribute in pubdest is "previewUrl", that, if defined, will override the template's one. Note The above functionality is scriptable (see Public Sub OnDoubleClick). |
The Web preview by default emulates IE7, and that can cause that HTML displayed appears different than it appears in other browsers or on Web, or you may have JScript errors. If there are problems, see Errors in Web preview, Set IE emulation for Web preview and Diagnosing Web browser. |
