This topic explains the steps to create a task from an event.
1.Launch Ted4 or Fred4, and then display the Planning main tab. 2.Locate an event as explained in Locating and filtering events, and then select an event. 3.On the File menu, point to New and then click Task from Event. 4.Enter data related to the task. 5.Click OK. |

Note
To be able to create a task in a given parent calendar, there must exist a calendar copy flow for that parent calendar, otherwise, the task is not created. See Create a calendar copy flow for instructions on how to create required copy flow.
