Locating GNML tags in GN4 Help Index

Click and then type >.

This lists all the built-in tags and variables. On top of the list there's a link to the GNML reference > - GNML tags reference .

Scroll the list until you find the tag you were looking for, and then double-click it to display topic. See also Using Locate button after finding a topic.

Click and then type > and the name of the tag, e.g. >drop.

Do not type the final bracket and do not enter any tag parameters.

This will select the first or the only tag with specified name. Double-click a suitable keyword to display topic.

If, when you build the name, at certain point nothing gets selected any more, it means no matches are available for that item - therefore, either the tag is not named as you expected. Then, make your query shorter, like leaving only first few letters after >. See also Using Locate button after finding a topic.
